WHAT ABOUT MY ARTWORK?
Yes you do. A bleed is generally 3mm all around your artwork.
Equally important design elements and fonts should be placed at least 3 mm from the final format (without bleed), and frames should not be used as boundary in the layout. For more information, please see our artwork instructions

A 3mm margin from the inside edge of the artwork. This means that primary elements like text, logos and important foreground graphics should not be placed within 3mm of the edge where the printed art is cut.
A 3mm margin around the outside edge of artwork (10mm on banner artwork). This means that secondary graphics like background patterns and graphics need to fall past the edge of the art- work (cutting line) to a distance of 3mm.
Most images within art- work are in the RGB colour profile for best display on screen. Images need to be converted to the CMYK colour profile which by necessity is the print standard. Colour values will change significantly.
Submit a batch of artwork (e.g. sets of business cards for a co.) as individual files. Instead of submitting 3 person’s business cards in one PDF, rather submit 3 separate PDF files.
If you don’t embed fonts they get substituted with other fonts on the printer side. The artwork will display incorrectly without the original fonts embedded. Convert text to curves or embed fonts to avoid this happening.
If your artwork has saturated colour that bleeds off the edge of the paper a lamination coat should be added to avoid the fraying of the edge when the product is guillotined.
Yes it does. We need to check that your artwork is print ready to be able to print in the best quality. If your artwork isn’t print ready you will be notified before a proof is given to you. We do not check for content related issues. Content related issues are things such as spelling errors, incorrect images or incorrect pricing.
MINIMUM ARTWORK REQUIREMENTS:
We accept artwork in print ready PDF files only. If you need your artwork to be converted to a different file format we can assist you at an additional fee.

MINIMUM ARTWORK REQUIREMENTS:
File Format - PDF or Jpeg
PDF, JPEG, and vector formats are distinct file types used in content creation and printing. PDF (Portable Document Format) is preferred for printing documents, offering precise layout retention and consistency across devices. It is ideal for professional materials like brochures, flyers, and reports. JPEG (Joint Photographic Experts Group) is best suited for high-quality image printing, thanks to its smaller file size and seamless compatibility with printers and image editors. However, its lossy compression may lead to slight image quality reduction when using high levels of compression. On the other hand, vectors, created in programs like Adobe Illustrator, employ mathematical equations, ensuring clarity at any scale and making them the ideal choice for designs like logos, icons, and infographics. Vectors ensure the highest level of detail and precision in printed materials, offering an invaluable advantage for professional-grade results. When choosing a format, the decision depends on the content type, with PDF being ideal for documents, JPEG for high-quality images, and vectors for designs requiring crisp clarity regardless of size.
High Resolution (150dpi minimum at 100% correct size).
